Covenant Players is a professional theater company, fielding touring units throughout the world. CP presents original theme-based plays written by founder Charles M. Tanner and conducts workshops and seminars in service to the local leadership of schools, churches, hospitals, social service groups, community and government agencies and organizations.

CP is a recognized religious and educational body organized exclusively for charitable, religious and educational purposes under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986; State of California Charitable Registration Number D-0626827; Federal I.D. 23-7186252. CP is also a member of the California Association of Non-Profits.

Covenant Players has been in continuous operation since it was founded on September 29, 1963. The World Headquarters is based in Ventura County California, and the North American Headquarters is in Toledo, Ohio. Principal International Offices are located in Germany, Britain and South Africa. Membership is international.

It is Covenant Players' policy to use gifts as designated by the donor in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. All gifts shall be appropriately receipted. In order for your gift to qualify as a charitable deduction on your taxes, please make checks payable to Covenant Players. Gifts to projects will be used for the ministry of the project designated, less administrative costs of no more than 10%. In the event that the project is over-funded (which rarely happens), the donation will be used for the project most nearly approximating the designation.

Gifts in support of members will be used as designated within applicable legal and accounting guidelines. In the event that the missioner for whom the support is intended in no longer serving with Covenant Players, the gift will be designated to the Deacons Fund in support of all missioners.
