"On Saturday, the 19th of November, Doris Pierson Tanner left this world and entered fully into the presence of the Lord. Dorie was marriage partner to Covenant Players founder, director and playwright Charles M. Tanner, for 56 years, until his passing in 2006. Dorie's life was a beautiful witness and testimony to the Lord. She served powerfully in her own ministries, as well as in her unparalleled support for CP founder Charles M. Tanner and the Covenant Players ministry. She was a particular champion of the CP missioners.
