Covenant Players' ministry goes beyond prison walls!
Earlier this month the BIO staff of Covenant Players supported the ministry of prison chaplains at HMP Gloucester and HMP Cardiff. One chaplain commented on the particular impact of the play DISC OF LIFE and felt that its themes of 'listening to God's voice' and its gentle handling of the topic of suicide was very pertinent for the inmates and that the message of the play was able to facilitate healing.
In the near future, the BIO staff will also serve at HMP Dartmoor. Here they will do a combination of plays and interactive workshop exercises with the inmates. Similarly, the Albion Unit will give a series of programs at HMP Brixton. Please pray that the impact of the plays will continue to bring hope and encouragement long after the unit leaves.
